Endowment

Contributions to the endowment can be designated to three funding areas - music program, scholarships, parish nurse programs as well as the general endowment fund which provides annual grants to Ebenezer programs and external nonprofit organizations.

What Your Gifts Support

General Fund

Our operating costs for everything from Sunday School materials to insurance coverage and electricity bills to candles. This includes the Cheer Fund, too.

Special Funds

New Neighbors Support Fund

In addition to support from Ebenezer’s general operating fund, we have a dedicated fund for supporting recently settled families and individuals beyond the limited services provided by government organizations. You can give to the fund here by selecting “Other/Special Event” and including “refugee support” in the field provided.

Frank Hoffman Scholarship Fund

This fund provides scholarships to school-age students in the tutoring program to participate in educational activities. The fund has supported students to cover the cost of college visits, buying books and supplies, participation or application fees for educational programs and the like. You can give to this fund here by selecting “Other/Special Event” and including “Frank Hoffman Scholarship Fund” in the field provided.

Organ Restoration Fund

Ebenezer's mighty Möller organ organ has accompanied our worship since 1964 and the time has come to perform some long overdue and costly refurbishment, so that it will be preserved for generations to come. Hear a few of Ebenezer's members reflect on the importance of the organ in our worship in this video. You can give to this fund here by selecting “Organ Fund.”

Are you a member of Thrivent? Your Thrivent Choice dollars can be directed to Ebenezer and you can use Action Team grants for activities throughout the year. Contact your Thrivent representative to learn more about these options.
