Providing Space for Our Neighbors
Our building features a beautiful, century-old Sanctuary with balcony, a flat-floored Auditorium, suitable for dancing, dinners, concerts, theatre, films, or large meetings, a Dining Room with kitchen facilities, a Gymnasium suitable for dancing, workouts or floor sports, as well as Meeting rooms of various sizes and amenities.
The Spaces
Ebenezer has a number of spaces that are available to the community for concerts, events, and meetings of many sizes, from an intimate group setting to large lectures, concerts, dancing, sports, and theatre. Spaces are available for one-time and on-going use. Use of the space is granted based on a number of criteria, schedule availability, and suitability. *Asterisks denote wheelchair accessibility.
Dining Room*
Open 60x35 ft space with 12 foot dropped ceiling with 16 60” round tables and chairs. PA system and LCD projection system available.
Rental Fee: $75/hr or $275 for 4 hours (Kitchen rented separately).
Capacity: Meal seating for 80.
Square Footage: 2100
Kitchen*
Three ovens, four range burners, commercial dishwasher, ample counter and prep space and serving window.
Rental Fee: $50 flat use. $100 deposit required ($50 returned if left clean and tidy)

Gymnasium
75X40 foot space with 19 foot ceiling. Hardware and lines for volleyball. Basketball hoops and goals for indoor soccer.
Rental Fee: $45/hr (2 hour minimum) or $150 for 4 hours.

Auditorium
55 X 80 foot room with vaulted ceiling with a small stage at the north end. 15 8’ tables with plenty of chairs. Restrooms on the same level. Not wheelchair accessible.
Rental fee: $50/hour if no admission is charged (3 hour maximum) $75/hour if admission is charged (3 hour maximum). $500 for 7 hours.

Parlor
35 X 22 carpeted meeting space with a small kitchenette. Large 12’ X 3’ meeting table at the south end. Seats 12 adults. Chairs for 30. Includes use of kitchenette in room.
Rental Fee: $40/hr or $150 for 4 hours
Capacity: Seats 12 adults. Chairs for 30.

Sanctuary*
Vaulted 125 year old sanctuary with excellent acoustics and balcony that can seat over 100 adults. Perfect for recitals and choral concerts or a lecture space when a large crowd is expected. For this particular space, all inquiries must be approved by the pastor.
Rental Fee: $500 for 4 hours
Capacity: Seating for 400. Wheelchair accessible.
Choir Room
An excellent space for individual or group practice up to 12 adults. Rental includes use of piano.
Rental Fee: $25/hr or $75 for 4 hours
Capacity: 12 adults
Square Footage: 300
Classrooms*
Room types vary.
Rental Fee: $25/hr or $75 for 4 hours
Capacity: 8-25 people. Many are handicap accessible.
Square Footage: Variable
Education Center Cafe
40 X 25 room suitable for a small luncheon or tea with adequate seating and a high ceiling. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Capacity: Seating for 25. Wheelchair accessible
Playlot
60 X 30 grassy space off the dining room and kitchen is ideal for a small summer ceremony or picnic. Gas BBQ is available. A jungle gym is also available for the little ones.
Courtyard
Semi enclosed outdoor garden, off Foster Ave. Suitable for small ceremonies and events.
Library
A flexible meeting room with room for a 6' table or not.
Capacity: 12 adults

Salon
A comfortable, small meeting room with both a sitting area and a desk space.
Capacity: 6 adults

What kind of groups use spaces at Ebenezer?
Indoor soccer clubs, opera companies, 12-step groups, book readings, podcast recordings, dance groups, musical instructors, community service organizations, choral groups, pals who play basketball, scout troops, religious gatherings, after-school tutoring, summer camps, and more.
How do I request special set-up or furniture for the space I’m requesting?
When you submit the request form, you should indicate any requests like this. The building coordinator will review and follow-up before any agreement is finalized.
What is the average cost for space rental?
Rates can range from $45-150 for a 2-hour rental depending on a few factors.
Rates for use of the space are determined based on which rooms are being used and what resources are available in those rooms (eg. kitchen, piano, sound system). In some cases, a fully refundable deposit may be required.
