2023 Annual Meeting
Official Notice of the Annual Congregational Meeting
January 29, 2022 at 11:15 a.m. in-person AND on Zoom
The annual Congregational Meeting will be held Sunday, January 29, 2023, immediately following Worship Services (approximately 11:15 a.m.). The meeting will be held in-person with Zoom connection option. A phone number will also be provided for members to call into the meeting. The in-person portion will be conducted in the dining room.

The purposes of the meeting are:
elect Council members, Synod Assembly delegates, and Nominating Committee members - view the ballot
review the 2022 financial position (see treasurer’s notes)
review and vote on the 2023 Operating Budget - download here
review and vote on replenishing the Emergency Repairs fund - view the report
review and vote on a proposed change to Ebenezer’s Constitution (see below)
discuss the 2022 ministry reports and 2023 plans

Chapter 13, Section C13.02 “A Nominating Committee of three voting members of this congregation, two of whom, if possible, shall be outgoing members of the Congregation Council, shall be elected at the annual meeting for a term of one year. Members of the Nominating Committee are not eligible for consecutive reelection.”
To:

Members of the Nominating Committee are eligible for consecutive reelection. However, members cannot serve more than two consecutive years in a row.”
We will need a quorum of voting members (minimum forty) present to conduct the business necessary for continuing the Church’s functions and Ministries. Please plan on attending in-person or online if you are able.
