Covid-19 Vaccines Information - Updated May 2021
All Chicago residents ages 16 and older may now receive the covid-19 vaccine. Research continues on the safety and efficacy of covid-19 vaccines for children. Hopefully the vaccine will soon be available to children ages 12-16 and later to children as young as 6 months old.
New variants of the virus continue to emerge and spread. Vaccinating the majority of the population is still our best hope of controlling the pandemic. If you or someone you know is hesitant to get the covid-19 vaccine, check HERE and/or HERE.
WHERE TO GET VACCINES:
Pharmacies each have their own registration link which can be found below. Some now take walk-ins.
Walgreens: register online, call your local Walgreens, or 1-800-WALGREENS (1-800-925-4733) Some Walgreens take walk-ins.
Walmart: call: 833-886-0023; Option 1
Jewel Osco: register online or call 877-723-3929.
Chicago Costco Pharmacies (Lincoln Park): register online or call (773) 360-2052.

Even after being fully vaccinated against covid-19, it is important to continue taking covid prevention measures until the pandemic is under control for all of us.
