DONATION DRIVE FOR AFGHAN FAMILIES ARRIVING IN CHICAGO

Join ECRA (Edgewater Community Religious Association) as we support the efforts of the Ismaili CIVIC, Focus Humanitarian Assistance, and World Relief Chicagoland to assist and welcome new families from Afghanistan who are seeking refuge and resettlement in Chicago.

Thousands of Afghan families are becoming increasingly vulnerable following the Taliban takeover. Some of those facing the greatest danger are people whose association with the U.S. is now threatening their lives and the lives of their families.

Together we can respond.

Ismaili CIVIC (formerly known as I-CERV), is partnering with Focus Humanitarian Assistance and World Relief Chicagoland to assist and welcome new refugee families.

We are organizing a Donation Drive on Saturday, September 4th to collect supplies for World Relief Chicagoland to build Welcome Kits for Afghan families.

Welcome Kits are a bundle of all the essential items needed for a newly arriving Afghan SIV or refugees as they start their new life here in Chicagoland.
