FUNDRAISER for the 2022 ELCA Youth Gathering & Multicultural Youth Leadership Event

This summer, several of the E.C.T. (Edgewater Congregations Together) Youth Group members picked out colors, decorations, and furniture, primed and painted the walls and trim, cleaned and organized, and designed and painted a mural in the new Youth Group room at Immanuel Lutheran Church. They want you to visit the room and check out all their hard work on it!
Stop by Immanuel Lutheran Church on Sunday, Sept. 19 sometime between 12-2pm to check out and offer a blessing for the room and to learn about the upcoming ELCA Youth Gathering and Multicultural Youth Leadership Event that will take place in Minneapolis in July 2022.

About Youth Group
The E.C.T. (Edgewater Congregations Together) Youth Group consists of 6th -12th grade youth from Ebenezer, Immanuel, and Unity Lutheran Churches and tutoring programs as well as youth from the neighborhood.
Note: Confirmation meets at Ebenezer and Youth Group meets at Immanuel.
About the ELCA Youth Gathering
Every three years, 30,000 high school youth and their adult leaders within Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather for a week of faith formation known as the ELCA Youth Gathering. Through days spent in interactive learning about faith, the world, and justice issues; worship led by fantastic speakers and musicians; Bible study; service learning and fellowship; young people grow in faith and are challenged and inspired to live their faith in their daily lives. The estimated cost is $1100-1500 per person, and we want ALL our youth to be able to attend. Please help us send our E.C.T. Youth Group to Minneapolis next year!
