ELCA 2022 Youth Gathering - Info Session

Next July (2022), the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) will be hosting its ELCA Youth Gathering in Minneapolis, Minnesota, The event takes place once every three years.  (This event was supposed to take place this year but was pushed back to 2022, due to the pandemic). 

This is a powerful experience for our high schoolers, where they will gather with 30,000 other Lutheran high schoolers and pastors/adult leaders for worship, to hear Christian speakers and musicians, to learn about and practice faith-based justice, and to participate in service work around our host city.

The Edgewater Congregations Together Youth Group High Schoolers (youth who are in 8th grade-12th grade during the 2021-2022 school year) will be attending (pending the Covid-19 situation), and we need to start planning now!

Pastor Emily will be hosting an informational meeting about the ELCA Youth Gathering on zoom Monday, August 30 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. It will be recorded and sent to those who cannot attend but would like the information.
