Leadership Positions at Ebenezer
CONSIDER NOMINATING YOURSELF OR ANOTHER FOR A LEADERSHIP POSITION AT EBENEZER--Have you been thinking about how your talents and your time might be put to good use by participating in administrative leadership at Ebenezer? If yes, here's more information about the opportunities that exist within our community of faith:
Church Council - are you someone who likes to think about both big-picture goals and detail-oriented tasks? If so, Ebenezer Council could be a good fit for you.
Synod Assembly Representative - are you interested in learning how Ebenezer and other churches work together to effect change in the world as a larger body: the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America? If so, you might want to be a delegate to our annual citywide Assembly during the first weekend in June. This event includes both a meeting to vote on proposals and several ritual events that bring us all together.
Nominating Committee - do you like to engage in conversation with people of all sorts, learning about their unique attributes and mentally matching them with roles that you think they would be perfect for? If so, you would be a good member of the Ebenezer Nominating Committee, which seeks out candidates that are suited to administrative tasks.
