Lent at Ebenezer

The Power and Peace of Confession and Forgiveness

During the Season of Lent, our weekly, periodic, and at-home opportunities will center Confession and Forgiveness. Rather than an obligation that penalizes or shames, we’ll explore the rich Lutheran idea that Confession and Assurance of Forgiveness, individually and together, offers us power, peace, reassurance, and freedom.

All liturgies will be available in-person and livestreamed.

Ash Wednesday
March 2, 12:15 and 7:00 p.m.

These liturgies will include song, prayer, preaching, and the option to self-apply ashes as a mark of our common humanity.

Wednesdays in Lent
March 9, 16, 23, 30, and April 6 at 7:00 p.m.

We will pray and sing using Holden Evening Prayer, and each week explore another aspect of Confession and Forgiveness. Additionally, individual Confession and/or Forgiveness will be available following the liturgy.
