School Supplies for Lutheran World Relief
Before we know it, stores will start featuring school supplies at bargain prices. That's the time to purchase supplies for Lutheran World Relief school bags.
Ebenezer will supply the colorful school bags, but we need to fill each bag with the supplies listed below. Remember that having those supplies makes it possible for children all over the world to get an education. This is especially important for girls in many countries. The girls are often last in line to receive schooling.
Each bag must contain:
Four 70-sheet notebooks (wide ruled or college ruled)
One box of 24 crayons
One pencil sharpener
One 30-centimeter ruler (12 inch rulers are fine, but the other edge must be marked in centimeters.)
One pair of blunt scissors
Five unsharpened No. 2 pencils with erasers
Five black or dark blue ballpoint pens
One 2 1/2" eraser
In 2021, we gathered supplies for 50 school kits and made 24 quilts to send to Lutheran World Relief.
