From the Pastor - August 5

Greetings Ebenezer Friends,

First, a heartfelt thank you to you all for making my July sabbatical possible. Thank you to all who stepped up and in, in small and big ways, to keep our community robust in ministry even as many of us have taken much needed time away and off. I can tell you I am feeling refreshed and excited to return to ministry.

Second, please make every effort to attend this Sunday as we bless Pastor Emily for her incredible presence among us and send her into her next ministry. We'll gather in the courtyard starting at 9:15 a.m to enjoy a decadent morning popsicle and share gratitude and memories with Pastor Emily. All are invited to Immanuel Lutheran (1500 W. Elmdale, east of Clark) for an additional reception following worship.

Finally, a word from me about Pastor Emily's ministry. I cannot thank her enough for being the colleague, leader, and innovator she has been among us. Selfishly, I'm sad to lose such an outstanding partner, even as I celebrate all lives she will touch in her new ministry. Well done, good and faithful servant!
